Hello! 

 

Welcome to my world. My work reflects contemplation of internal and external dynamics pertaining to 'the self'. This manifests in varying degrees of direct representation within my paintings ranging from portraiture to complete abstractions. Themes I am interested in include lineage, mundanity, and nostalgia. My mixed media methods, background in illustration, and curiosity with abstract surrealism prompt me to explore this spectrum and discover meaning through organic emotionally driven and experimental marks. I let the work speak for itself and pass through me. My own interpretations of the work often completely differ from others. My hope is that this work can make sense of something for you as it helps me understand my own self a little more clearly.​
